  Retro video games I've played in 2024 for RetroAchievement's " Achievement of the Week " Competition! I will leave a rank beside each game to reflect my enjoyment level and try to give a quick description/review on most games throughout the year!  Quarter 2 | April - June Dr. Slump (PS1)  - C In honor of Akira Toriyama (died March 8th, 2024), April's 1st week game comes from one his most popular mangas, "Dr. Slump"! Cute, funny, pervy, adventurous...what's more to love in a Japanese manga? I was awkwardly laughing through all the pervy humor as it is reminiscent of my memories with Dragon Ball! Some of the 3D platforming can be a challenge at times (in a frustrating way) and the memory game quiz/challenges of things like "how many articles of clothing was on this person's clothing line" isn't usually my version of "fun".  Living on Vitamin Supplements and Burger King Chicken Nuggets Ever since developing comorbidities, my health challenges have caused a disease even more disasterous than my immune disorders: poverty. All dark jokes aside, this past year has been a continued challenge to stabilize my health, and maintain enough nutrients when I've been experiencing continued health problems that hinder me from working "normal" jobs. That said, I've been "hyper-fixated" on optimizing my health, pushing doctors to test for deficiencies, eating healthy meals, and taking supporting supplements.  A huge issue my autoimmune disorder has caused is partial intestinal paralysis, or a variation of slow gut motility. That was making it difficult to eat ENOUGH meals during the day. Not only have I tried OTC laxatives and a high fiber diet, but also acupuncture, massage, and a few supportive supplements.
