 Samsung NX500 Firmware Updates in 2025 It's been nearly 10 years since Samsung released their last APS-C sensor camera, the NX500. It was the "little brother" of the Samsung NX1, Samsung's flagship camera released in 2014. It was a very capable camera that was ahead of it's time, and still captures amazing images and video quality that competes with modern day cameras still to this day! The caveat is that Samsung stopped supporting their software, and a few of the conveniences/apps are no longer available on some Android phones. Thankfully it's still easy to update the firmware manually by downloading the len's .bin file onto a SD card and then inserting it into the camera. Then you can go to your menu settings, find device information, and then firmware update. The same applies for the firmware update for your camera body (latest is v1.12). Kodak Retina iiic - 1st Time Use I received my first few images back from Memphis Photo Lab. They developed and scanned my images, but only 6 of them were emailed to me. I will try to find out what happened to the rest of the roll when I receive my negatives. Below are the few that turned out well! All captured on the Kodak iiic with it's stock 50mm f/2 Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenon lens on AGFA Vista 400 film! f/16 1/125 f/4 1/125 f/11 1/250 As I stated above, I shot more photos on different days/occasions on the same roll so I'm not sure what happened with the rest of the frames. I will email and ask soon as well as check my negatives when they return. Also, the first developed image seemed to have a weird light leak, or I'm wondering if I didn't wind the film enough when I first loaded into camera. If you know what happened please let me know!  The Sony RX10iii has captured many years of memories! I share my experiences and nostalgia for this camera, and discuss what the future of photography/videography might look like for me. I hope Sony will consider improving/updating this model in a new RX10V!

Is Sony's a9iii "Perfect"?       Sony recently released their new flagship camera model, the Sony a9iii in Q4 of 2023. A couple of it's most notable features include Global Shutter on a Full Frame Sensor, 4K 120fps (no crop), improved AF and quality of life features such as "Pre-Capture". That being said, the cost comes in around $6,000...  Although Sony has created a more "precise" camera, does it capture what other cameras cannot?
